ASPAC 2018

Founded in 1997, Asia Pacific Networks of Science Centers (ASPAC) has more than 80 members from over 20 countries and territories in the world, mainly from the Asia Pacific region but also some from Europe, North America and the Middle East. The members include science centers and science museums, institutions from other regional networks and exhibition related companies, as well. The association holds an annual meeting each year to provide members the opportunity to communicate with each other and exchange ideas and collaborate on projects. 　

The 2018 ASPAC Annual Conference with the theme “Science Innovative Cuisine” will be held in Taipei City, Taiwan from September 5 to September 7, with pre-conference workshops on Sept 4 and a post-conference tour on Sept. 8.

It is estimated that 300 professionals from the Science Museum in the Asia Pacific Region will attend this conference. The participants will share experiences and exchange best practices and most especially, new ways  of doing exhibitions, education, and other strategies to popularize science.
