Here, we report the observation of interspecies Feshbach resonances in a ⁷Li-¹³³Cs mixture. The resonances were identified by Feshbach spectroscopy: an enhanced trap loss was observed at a resonance, after a molecular state was shifted, by an external field, to the scattering threshold and became available for scattering atom pairs. We also compared the measured resonance positions and widths to theoretical calculations. The resonances allowed us to refine the model potential of the Li-Cs interaction, and with the refined potentials, the collision properties of Li and Cs at ultra low temperatures can be better characterized.
