Transmission of a 4-level system under the influence of a strong external drive

The interaction between a four4-level system and a strong external drive was numerically investigated. The 4-level system can be a multi-level artificial atom or coupled qubits. The dissipation of the atom is described by the formalism of the Lindblad master equation. The transmission spectrum is calculated by using linear response theory and quantum regression theory. The quantum optical phenomena associated with Rabi splitting of driven levels can be presented systematically, allowing a comparison with experimental results.
