Multiferroic is the material in which there are more than two ordering parameters coupled with each other. Coexisting order parameters and inherent couplings in multiferroics form a potent playground, enabling the manipulation of intriguing properties to obtain new functionalities. The BiFeO₃, which exhibits the ferroelectric and antiferromagnetic simultaneously ordered at room temperature, has attracted a lot of attention for the last decades owing to its potential for application in the multifunctional spintronic device. However, most studies have focused on the properties of its ferroelectric order. The study on the antiferromagnetic properties of BiFeO₃ is lacking. In this talk, I will present the systemic investigation of the Neel vector in BiFeO₃ epitaxial strain thin film. The multiple strategies to manipulate its Neel vector will be proposed.
