Introduction

With the development of digital technology and cloud computing, greater efficiency and flexibility provided by cloud software have increased the demand for efficient accounting system and auditing process. Many corporations rely on cloud accounting system to achieve more efficient operations. In addition, the implementation of IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16, extended audit report, and the anti-money-laundering law have significantly influence both accounting academic and practice.

The theme of the 2018 Taiwan Accounting Association Annual Conference is “Accounting Intelligence for the Future”. This annual conference aims to explore the future developments in accounting and auditing in terms of practice and theory.This conference will invite international well-known accounting scholars to share and inherit the relevant experience of accounting. The 2018 Taiwan Accounting Association Annual Conference organized by the Taiwan Accounting Association and the Department of Accounting of National Chengchi University will be an excellent platform for domestic and foreign distinguished scholars and practitioners to share knowledge and experience. We welcome academics and practitioners around the world to attend the Conference.
