Welcome to The 3rd AOFSRR School

November 3-9, 2019, NSRRC, Taiwan

The 3rd AOFSRR School will be hosted by the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC) from November 3 to 9. It is aimed at science and engineering graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early career researchers from across the Asia-Oceania region who are interested in pursuing a career in synchrotron radiation related fields. This school will present a range of lectures and practical sessions relating to the theory and applications of synchrotron radiation to a wide range of science and technology research.

NSRRC, a national facility and research institute, operates two synchrotron light sources -- Taiwan Light Source and Taiwan Photon Source (TPS). The TPS is one of the world's brightest synchrotron X-ray sources; it opens numerous prospective opportunities to enable fundamental research and to assist the development of high-tech industries in improving research and development capability.
