Li Jin Kiln

Founded in 1995 by Cheng-Li Su, Li-jing Kiln mainly exhibits Cheng-Li Su’s glazed ceramics, whose brilliant pottery throwing techniques and combination of traditional shape and modern glaze color have won many international awards. His works are also collected by domestic art lovers and museums.

Having had exchange of ideas with many foreign ceramic art creators, Cheng-Li Su is devoted to improving the clay body materials and glaze of hand-painted dishes. The plain and simple image highlights the beautiful memories of the simple era back then in Taiwan, and all visitors to Lijin Kiln can feel his sincerity and thoughtfulness.

EXHIBITION INFORMATION:

Nature and people’s lives are closely connected. Every moment of the changing seasons, mountains and forests, and seas and lands embody the flow of life.

From simple shapes and colors to meticulous leaves and trees, with vibrant waves that appeal to our love for the environment, the variations in warm and cool colors, sharp and rounded forms, and realistic and abstract imagery are all representations of the innocence and affection the artists experience in their lives.

In this exhibition, we feature ceramic artists Lin Bi-yan, Lai Yao-chi, Cheng Chi-ming, and Xu Xing-long. They are skilled in creating works that embody life experiences, and they use wood firing to capture their admiration for life, respect for nature, and passion for ceramic art. Ceramics is an exquisite combination of life and art, which brings us more artistic inspirations.
