Padpanadscha Art Center

The low-profile Padparadscha Art Center is located at a graceful alley next to Yongkang Street. The bright and simple design in the gallery featuring big French windows and béton brut does not steal the spotlight of art works.

Focusing on art exhibitions, Padparadscha Art Center gets its special name from Padparadscha sapphire, a gemstone with salmon color and a pinkish hue, hailed as “aquatic lotus blossom,” which draws visitors’ attention.

Padparadscha is a compound art space. Its diverse facilities and equipment allow for various displays of each exhibition and bring all kinds of artistic beauty to visitors.

EXHIBITION INFORMATION:

Kiran Porcelain

Since establishing the predecessor brand “yk.celine” in 2008, with porcelain clay as material, as an amateur artist, the artist used hand forming, wheel throwing, and slab forming techniques to create all her work, including cups, bowls, plates, teapots, and vases. Fourteen years ago, to enrich her aesthetic experience with everyday vessels, she began studying ceramics techniques from scratch.

After the highs and lows of managing a brand and being an artist, she has risen from the bottom, reborn. With this new life, she once again embarks on her artistic journey. Therefore, she founded her new brand, Kiran, with which she plans to stand out in the world and in the universe. She will also remind herself to incorporate her pursuit for truthfulness, kindness, and beauty into her Kiran brand.

The “Kiran” exhibition is a cross between a satellite exhibition for the IAC Congress and the annual product unveiling of Kiran (& yk.celine). For the artist, this is a turn in creative philosophy and attitude, with the Tao wisdom of allowing everything to be done by doing nothing. Natural relaxation is captured with the designs and decorative patterns of the porcelain. It permeates every aspect of people’s lives, and it is the artist’s hope for the love of Kiran to one day spread to every corner of the world and every dimension of the universe.
