On behalf of the Taiwan Liquid Crystal Society, we are pleased to welcome you to the third Asian Conference on Liquid Crystals (ACLC 2017) to be held at National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan, from February 13 through 15, 2017.
第63屆台灣化學工程學會年會
第63屆台灣化學工程學會年會將於今年11月25-26日在桃園市中壢區中央大學舉辦，承蒙中央大學化工與材料系全體師生的全力投入，本人代表所有學會成員向他們表達謝意，希望所有化工界的朋友能熱心參與，使本次年會更成功。
中央大學化工與材料系從民國５８年在台灣復系後，至今已４７年，該校風景優美，設備齊全，而且離桃園高鐵站不遠，交通方便，大家在學術交流外，可見到老朋友，認識新朋友，也能欣賞校園美景，希望大家攜眷參加。
本次的學術活動將包括化工所有的領域，同時邀請韓國５位學者來台灣參加，並將邀請數位國內外的專家作專題演講，也將選舉下屆理監事。
ASVB第七屆亞洲血管生物學研討會
It is a great pleasure to announce that the 7th Scientific Meeting of Asian Society for Vascular Biology will be held in Hualien, Taiwan from October 27 till October 29. The intention of this meeting is to bring together the basic research scientists and physician scientists with interests in basic and clinical aspects of vascular biology, and to address the recent advances in their research areas and clinical experiences. Hopefully, the meeting will promote active participation and collaboration in translational research for vascular biology in the Asian-Pacific region.
International Conference on High-Entropy Materials (ICHEM 2016)
November 6th – 9th 2016, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan
High-entropy alloy has become an exciting and vibrant field of materials science since the concept was proposed by Professor Jien-Wei Yeh. Symposia, meetings and workshops on topics of high-entropy alloys are being held in many countries, and a rapid increase in the numbers of scientific journal publications and citations is evident. This design concept allows compositions beyond the scope of traditional alloys, offering unprecedented properties, challenges and opportunities for a wide range of structural and functional applications. These new materials are of great interest from both scientific and technological points of view.
第27屆超大型積體電路設計既計算機輔助設計技術研討會
本屆大會以「Showcases of Intelligent Electronics」為主題，作為台灣積體電路設計前瞻技術、訓練、成果的展示櫥窗。為此，我們規劃兩大方向。第一，在特色演講 (Keynote Speech與Invited Talk) 方面，邀請半導體各領域具代表性之業界及專家，介紹邁向智慧電子時代所面臨的世界趨勢、挑戰及成就，包含臺灣積體電路孫元成副總經理暨技術長（製造領域）、日月光半導體洪松井資深副總經理（封裝測試領域）、瑞昱半導體林盈熙副總經理（IC設計領域），及Cadence Design System, Dr. Qi Wang, Vice President（電腦輔助設計領域）、清華大學徐爵民教授（曾任科技部長、工研院院長、清大電資學院院長）等專家貴賓進行共5場精彩的專題演講。
第27屆超大型積體電路設計暨計算機輔助設計技術研討會
一年一度由臺灣學研界主辦的 IC 設計年度盛會－ VLSI Design/CAD Symposium－將於2016年8月2日至5日假高雄85大樓君鴻國際酒店舉行。今年大會以Showcases of Intelligent Electronics為主題，以過去幾年智慧電子發展的經驗展望未來，本屆大會除了論文發表、論壇、短期課程外，也邀請產、學、研多位先進發表精彩的專題演講，並邀請近年在國內外IC設計相關競賽得獎之優秀團隊展示成果。
VMPT 2016
INDUSTRY requires the rapid development, prototyping, testing, and deployment of machining strategies in order to reduce cost and achieve the highest quality. A key tool in achieving this goal is to model product development and manufacturing in a digital environment using a science-based approach, where the complete design and production chain of activities can be simulated and optimized before resorting to costly and time-consuming physical trials on the shop floor.
The 5th International Conference on Virtual Machining Process Technology (VMPT 2016) will be held in Taipei, Taiwan from May 22-25, 2016.
10th Asian Meeting on Electroceramics
We are very delighted to welcome you to participate in the 10th Asian Meeting on Electroceramics (AMEC-10) to be held in Taipei, Taiwan from December 04-07, 2016 at the GIS TAIPEI TECH Convention center.
The first two conferences of the Asian Meeting on Electroceramics (AMEC–1 and AMEC–2) were held in Kawasaki–Japan in 2000 and 2001, then followed by biennial meeting in different Asian countries: Singapore (AMEC–3, 2003), Hangzhou–China (AMEC–4, 2015), Bangkok–Thailand (AMEC–5, 2006), Tsukuba–Japan (AMEC–6, 2008), Jeju-Korea (AMEC–7, 2010), Penang–Malaysia (AMEC-8, 2012) and Shanghai–China (AMEC-9, 2014). Based upon its well established reputation over the years, AMEC–10 is expecting to gather a large number of experts and professionals from around the world to participate and share their knowledge.
