Visa Information

 

All passport holders of any country must have at least six months of validity left on your passport before entering Taiwan. Those who from countries not listed below must obtain visas in order to enter Taiwan. For further details on visas to Taiwan, please see http://www.boca.gov.tw/mp?mp=2.

  

Visa-exempt Entry

The following countries are eligible for visa-exempt entry for 90 days:

The nationals of the following countries are eligible for the visa exemption program, which permits a duration of stay up to 90 days:Andorra, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K., U.S.A. and Vatican City State.

 

The following countries are eligible for visa-exempt entry for 30 days:

  • Malaysia, Singapore.

The following countries are eligible for visa-exempt entry for 14 days:

  • Nationals of Thailand, Philippines, Russia (effective to July 31, 2019)

Landing Visas

  • Holders of Turkish passport with validity of more than six months.
  • Holders of emergency or temporary passports with validity of more than six months for nationals of those countries(except for US) eligible for visa-exempt entry.

Entry Permit for Mainland China (PRC) Passport Holders

For participants holding Mainland China (PRC) passports, it usually takes more than 2 months to process the entry permit. NSRRC will process the paperwork for those who need such a permit.

 

The processing fee for the entry permit is TWD615. It must be paid when you register on the first day of the school. For further information on entry permit to Taiwan, please visit National Immigration Agency.
