Deposited titanium nitride nanoscrews for high efficient light absorption
Yi Jun Jen;Wei Chien Wang;Kai Lun Wu;Ming Zheng Li;Meng Jie Lin

In this study, glancing angle deposition is used to form a titanium nitride nanoscrew array as a 3D nanostructured thin film. This structured film is demonstrated as an efficient light absorber to absorb light in a broad band and over a wide range of angles for both polarization states.

Fiber-based Portable Laser System for Radioactive Decontamination
Yu-Chieh Lin;Yen-Yin Lin;Yu-Hsiang Huang;An-Chung Chiang

A compact and portable laser radioactive decontamination system was designed using a fiber laser and a polygon scanner. Up to 88500 mm/s processing speed is achieved by varying the spinning speed of the polygon mirror. This system was demonstrated to be efficient for radioactive decontamination on surfaces of various metals.

Fabrication the Cu2ZnSnSe4(CZTSe) thin film with hybrid inks and by pressurized selenization process
Shiang-Hua Pan;Shih-Chang Shei

The main idea of this study is to figure out the Cu2ZnSnSe4(CZTSe) thin-film quality by using the hybrid inks of Cu2SnSe3(CTSe) and ZnSe under the influence of the selenization time. After the pressurize selenization process, the morphology, structure and optical properties will measure through XRD, Raman, SEM, EDS and UV-Vis.

An approach defining the health of culture pond by absorption and fluorescence spectrum using multi-laser irradiation
Min Che Chiang;Yen Chun Chen;Bo Wei Huang;Shi Wei Wang;Yu Chun Wang;Chi Yuan Lin;Yu Pin Lan

Using a simple optical method and camera to identify the culture ponds to establish the aqueous phase observations, and the further analysis of the algae in the ponds by fluorescence spectrum.

Current response and Staebler-Wronski effect of different wavelength light sources in optically induced dielectrophoresis chips
Yue Chang Tsai;Yu Pin Lan;Ju Nan Kuo;Yong Hang Hong

We provide an approach to distinguish particles with different size by a dielectrophoretic force generated by optically induced dielectrophoresis (ODEP) of the amorphous silicon layer sequence following ITO on a glass substrate. The current response of the ODEP chip depended on the optical wavelength was observed.
