The conference will be held at the K-Hotel Gyeongju, and Korean Accounting Association has blocked rooms at the K-Hotel for the duration of the AAAs and KAA Annual Conference 2019 and special rates have been secured (100 USD, breakfast included). However, please note that Korean Accounting Association is not interfering in the hotel bookings. The K-Hotel Gyeongju is located at the Gyeongju Bomun Tourist Resort Complex, which is about 10 km east of downtown Gyeongju. The resort complex covers the districts of Bomun-dong, Sinpyeong-dong, Amgok-dong and Cheongun-dong. It is situated under the ruin of the old fortress on Myeonghwal Mountain and faces Toham Mountain. The resort is formed around the Bomun Lake, expanding over 19.38 square km, and is designated as a spa and special tourist district. Within the Bomun Tourist Complex are facilities such as ferry port, golf course, shopping mall, Seonjae Art Gallery, Bomun Outdoor Performance Hall, drive-in theater, a theme park named Gyeongju World, and many more. You can rent a boat and go for a ride across the lake, visit some of the amusement parks, indulge in leisurely walks or cycling around the lake, or enjoy a round at the golf course by the lake. You can refresh and grab something to eat at one of the numerous cafes, restaurants, and bars as well.
