Visa Information

All passport holders of any country must have at least six months of validity left on your passport before entering Taiwan



Countries Eligible for Visa-exempt Entry

Stay of up to 90 days:

Andorra, Australia (good through 12/31/2018), Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Haiti, Honduras*, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan*, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Poland, Paraguay, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States of America*,and Vatican City State.

Stay of up to 30 days:

  • Belize*, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Malaysia, Saint Christopher and Nevis*, Saint Lucia*, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore.
  • Nationals of the Kingdom of Thailand (good through 07/31/2018).
  • Nationals of Brunei or a holder of Brunei Certificate of Identity (good through 07/31/2018).

Stay of up to 14 days:

  • Nationals of Philippines (good through 07/31/2018).

Countries Eligible for Landing Visas

Stay of 30 days:

  • Holders of Turkish passport with validity of more than six months.
  • Holders of Macedonian passport with validity of more than six months.
  • Holders of emergency or temporary passports with validity of more than six months for nationals of those countries(except for US) eligible for visa-exempt entry.

    PRC (People's Republic of China) Passport Holders

    For participants holding Mainland China (PRC) passports, it usually takes more than 2 months to process the entry permit. NSRRC will process the paperwork for those who need such a permit. Please complete your registration and fee before 2018/3/26 so that you will have enough time to prepare the required documents.

     

    The processing fee for the entry permit must be paid together with the registration fee. Once your payment is made, please contact us via iwxm2018@nsrrc.org.tw so we can initiate the process. For further information on entry permit to Taiwan, please visit National Immigration Agency.
