TPS Tour

On June 14 (Thursday), there will be an opportunity for all participants to visit the NSRRC and have a guided tour of the Taiwan Photon Source. NSRRC, a national facility and research institute, operates two synchrotron light sources -- Taiwan Light Source and Taiwan Photon Source (TPS). The TPS is one of the world's brightest synchrotron X-ray sources. Currently there are 9 TPS beamlines in operation or commissioning. They open numerous prospective opportunities to enable basic research and to assist the development of high-tech industries in improving research and development capability.

Charter buses will be arranged for the participants, leaving from the conference venue to Hsinchu in the late morning, and light lunch meals will be serviced on the bus. On the return, buses will go to the banquet restaurant directly or to the conference venue in the evening.
