An invitation is extended to Conference delegates to attend the SRI 2018 Welcome Reception at the Taipei International Convention Center. Renew old friendships and make new acquaintances as we welcome you to Taipei. Finger food and drinks will be served in the V.I.P. Room on the 4th floor.

Taiwan Photon Source (TPS) Tour

Date: Thursday June 14, 2018

Time: 10:00am – 4:30pm

Venue: National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center

This will be an opportunity for all participants to visit the NSRRC and have a guided tour of the Taiwan Photon Source (TPS). Charter buses will be arranged for the participants, leaving from the conference venue to Hsinchu in the late morning, and light lunch meals will be serviced on the bus. On the return, buses will go to the banquet restaurant directly or to the conference venue in the evening.

Banquet Dinner

The Organizing Committee is excited to announce the venue for the SRI 2018 Banquet Dinner at The Grand Hotel Taipei.

The Grand Hotel retains the elements of classic Chinese architecture in its building. It is not only the most splendid landmark of Taipei, but representative of contemporary palatial architecture. Attendees will be treated to an eight course dinner and drinks and will be able to enjoy Chinese traditional folk performances through the evening.
